Dr. Nathan has Co-authored an Article published in Epilepsy and Behavior Journal- Change in Gut Microbiota due to Ketogenic diet in treating Drug-resistant Epilepsy

 Dear All,

This interesting KD article titled Can change in gut microbiota composition be used as a surrogate marker of treatment efficacy of ketogenic diet in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy? has been recently published online in Epilepsy and Behavior Journal by my PhD student.

 I am a co-author.

This research is being done at my keto centre.

The Ketogenic Diet must be taken only under Expert Supervision

We have just heard about the sad and unfortunate passing away of actress Ms. Mishti Mukherjee. However, what concerns us are the media reports that claim she passed away due to kidney failure caused by the ketogenic diet (KD). We are writing to refute that a properly administered KD can cause kidney failure.
